Amanda Isom – CTPA
With over 20 years’ experience at CTPA, Amanda’s current role focusses on the UK and EU regulatory framework for cosmetic products, engaging with Regulators and aiding members with legislative compliance.
With particular interest in the Product Information File (PIF) requirements, nanomaterials and the EU Cosmetic Product Notification Portal, Amanda has chaired the Cosmetics Europe Task Force PIF and Expert Team Nanotechnologies.
Amanda also represents the CTPA on several cross-sector groups and task forces including a Joint Industry Task Force on the Access and Benefit Sharing (ABS) Regulation, the UK Nanotechnology Environment and Health Industry Group, Nanotechnology Supply Chain Forum, the BRC Technical Advisory Committee (Consumer Products Standard) and the British Standards Institute CW/217 (Cosmetics) Committee.
Amanda is an active member of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists (SCS) and currently holds a seat on the Council in addition to chairing the Education Committee. Amanda is also a member of the Chartered Management Institute and Ladies Circle GB&I.
